help identifying an old math game

I know somebody whose kid is having trouble with math, and wants to try some old math progams that he remembers from elementry school. He's dedicating an old Apple IIe that's been gathering dust to the kid so the kid can't mess up his modern system again. Sorry for being vague here, but I'm keeping confidentiality of the child.

There was this one math game that had a guy that went back and forth accross the screen, and you had to solve basic arithmatic problems to get him to be raised up to the next level on the screen by some kind of platform. You had to do this before these numbers would catch up to you and end your life.

Any other suggestions on what to get for teaching addition with carry to an LD kid that I can get off of Asimov (or some other site that I'd appreciate being named) would be welcome. I'm going to be the one transferring the images back to actual disks with my PowerMac/Apple IIGS team, so I might as well get the choices available correct before I transfer the images to 5.25" disk.
