Thanks Alex. I'm not quite sure why my brain blocked the idea of
checking WebPack ISE (that I use for FPGA tinkering) to see if it could
target GALs.

I think I was just assuming that the logic array size difference
between GALs and CPLDs/FPGAs was significant enough that older
generation tools were required for development.
