You're going to love this...it's the biggish chip connected directly to the ADB connector. ;-) Seriously, you're going to have to remove the main board in any case to resolder the connector or replace the chip--or replace the main board, if it comes to that. Might as well follow the traces to the chip. BTW, after my first reply I realized that nothing had been said about the keyboard & cable--do the keyboard and cable work with another ADB computer, to rule out failures there? -michael NadaNet networking for Apple II computers!
