You have ADTgs hosted on a Titanium Powerbook? I thought the earlier
incarnations of ADT were DOS/Windows only (except for macADT, you don't
indicate you're using).
I don't have any experience with the OSX end of the spectrum, since I
don't have a USB-serial adapter for my Macs. But if you list exactly
what hardware you are using (do you have a null modem cable? What is
on the Apple II end - the IIgs (round) serial connector, or a DB-25?
How are you connecting to ADTgs?) maybe I can help a little more.
Right now, I don't think I have the whole story as to how you're set up
with the working vs. non-working configurations.
The ADTPro bootstrapping page
(http://adtpro.sourceforge.net/bootstrap.html) has a lot of detail
about exactly how the two computers need to be connected, except it
assumes a PC-ish thing at the other end. With your USB adapter, you'll
have to wing it as to how it gets set up at the OSX end.
