You got it.. this is what I'm using, along with a Quadra 605 as a spare
for when the CC dies.  But given how much newer the PPCs are, I think
for the LONG RUN, they'll outlast our reasonable ability to keep the
power supplies in the 040s viable.

You will *always* be able to supply appropriate power to any
computer, even by building one if it comes to that.

Of course, you can buy *new* power supplies today (and for many
years to come) that can perfectly power any computer you have,
and their "clock" just started.  ;-)

Your "survivalist" mentality is quite interesting!
