Actual timing...  51 sec on a IIgs in "fast" mode.  Not surprisingly,
the vast majority of it was disk I/O.

If you know a way to run a DOS 3.3 based system from something like the
CFFA card I'd love to hear about it.  If this were ProDOS based I might
actually use it for something.  I might anyway ;)
