speed 57600
send $CR $CR
wait 100 ogin:
send $USERNAME $CR
wait 100 assword:
send $PASSWORD $CR
wait 100 flower
send 'slattach -p slip' $CR
getip 300
end

I also changed the wait to be 5000 (approx 1min 13sec, IIRC). I
initially figured that 100 (approx 1.67sec) would be fine at 57600!

With the 5000, I got past the "ogin:" prompt but waited at the
"assword:" prompt until timeout.

I could reenable PPP on the port and try that at a lower speed.

I have noticed that in ProTERM, I lose a few characters here-and-there
while running under GS/OS (such as 'ls -l'). Seems better from a
straight ProDOS boot (not sure if that really makes sense though!!).
Note that file transfers have no errors, so I suspect the lost
characters are related to scrolling or updating the screen in some
manner.

Can do. I prefer the fastest I can go since I primarily ship files back
and forth...

Ok. Will 3.0b1 be "stable enough"?? I may try this - just to see if
it's better.

Is there some way for Marinetti to capture what it is seeing? That
could be helpful. (Especially with the scripted piece.)

Thanks!
