    Thanks for catching that typo, I meant of course Slot 6 as that's where
daisy-chained Apple 5.25 drives are mapped to.

    With a Disk II drive connected through an interface card you would do 
the opposite, changing Slot 6 from "Your Card" to "Disk Port" disable it. I
could be wrong, but I would assume the LED blinking doesn't happen with 
the Disk II connected to a physical slot under GS/OS.
