Re: Apple //e Owner's Manual - how many different versions?

I can recall three editions. There's the original one you mentino, in
the beige coloured
thin-rainbow banded.

The second edition started with the enhanced IIe, where the
documentation was
redone to match the IIc documentation - not the original red covered
IIc docs, the later
white ones. This one has the profile of a IIe on the cover with someone
reaching to press
a key. It's a bit lighter on information than the previous edition -
"User Friendly" and
matches the Unidisk documentation, etc. from the same era.

The third print is for the platinum IIe, again white, featuring I think
a mouse equipped IIe
with a colour composite display. I don't have one of these and have
never read it, so I
can't comment on it's contents, but would suppose that it's much the
same as the
edition that precedes it, with the exception of updates to cover the
keyboard differences.

Cheers,

Matt
