I haven't used the software in question, but it seems unlikely that the
presence of a language card is a problem.  The extra RAM is bank-switched
on top of ROM, so you have to go out of your way to use it (or even know
that it's there).  I would guess that nearly every Apple II sold after
about 1981 had at least 64K of RAM.
