You can, but I don't think it's a good idea, especially for someone
relatively new to old Macs... a better solution for dual-booting is having
seperate partitions.
In this case, I don't think it's really necessary since very few programs
actually require 7.6.1 and there would be some advantage to starting with
a clean install rather than trying to work around a hobbled system.

I'm not sure where you can download DiskDup+, but if you can't find it
drop me a line... I have it _somewhere_ around here...
