Okay, time for an update! ;-p

With a little help, I found the email address of the guy who wrote the
//c emulator for the eMate, so it's just a matter of time before I hear
from him.

The Craigslist ads now have a picture of the TLC which will hopefully
make it easier for people to figure out what I'm talking about.

The main reason I looked into the Powerbook idea is because of its
cheapness. (If I'm lucky, I'll win two broken Powerbooks that will let
me get one working) Assuming no one outbids me, I'll be getting the
Powerbooks for $5 plus shipping. I'm sure I'll incur more expenses once
I get it, but at least it's a start.
