You want the CFFA (Compact Flash card for Apple II) card. It allows you
to use industry standard compact flash storage cards on an Apple II,
where it looks like a hard drive. Copy your files to it, then move the
card to your PC or Mac with a compact flash reader, and copy the files.

How does a pc or mac do to access the prodos filesystem in the cf card?

I was thinking that the pc/mac must be expecting most probably a msdos
fat filesystem.. ?

You also need the amazingly versatile Ciderpress by Andy McFadden.

After you plug the CF card into the PC, ignore the prompt format it - CiderPress will work with the card and it's ProDOS partition directly.
