Keep in mind that while DAC522 uses a 22kHz pulse train, the actual
sample rate is 11.025kHz, so, even with a great low-pass, the highest
frequency present is about 5kHz--approximately AM radio.  ;-)

There is no such limit on the low frequencies--RT.SYNTH can be shifted
*way* down in octaves to make some serious bass.

Of course, it's still a 5-bit DAC, so there is always that quantization
noise--which some find truly "retro-charming".  ;-)
