I did try to use Telix on PC and ProTerm on Apple //c and Apple IIgs. 5
pin to 25 pin cable for Apple //c does the same as 8 pin to 25 pin cable for
Apple IIgs. Zmodem is doing very well without any errors to transfer files
from PC to Apple //c or IIgs. It runs at 2400 baud and 9600 baud which it
should work fine. Sometimes, Xmodem and Ymodem may do OK, but Zmodem is
better.
Yes, my 2c runs from 300 to 9600. Same for my 2c+ but I haven't tried
the 2gs. I also have a similar setup for an SSC which currently resides
in a 2e. I don't do as much file transfers as I used to but I might play
around with the new ADT soon.
Glad it's working.
Cheers,
