2 Macs + several apple2s, best way to xfer things ?

Hello,

My apple2+ has been left alone for 21 years, since 1984, just when I
bought the first Mac.

I wanted to show my daughter how this things were when I was young.
One of the II+ did not start up at all. Many of the floppies were
unreadable. The disk II drive head-moving "rails" certainly needed to be
oiled, the head cleaned, all the card's connectors too, etc etc. I had a
chip-tester card (for cmos and 74-series TTLs) that was going to be of
much help fixing the II+, but I was not able to find the software...

All ended up well. Everything is now up and running. She (my daughter)
now knows how to catalog and hgr and hplot and save and more or less is
learning to write something in basic... jeje

Also, suddenly, while I was surfing I got "by accident" in front of
Drehers's CFFA page (the CFFA photo sells the card by itself). I had to
buy one of these !! Also found Mahon's NADANET... what's that ? almost
30 years later and there's still people doing things with the apple2s..?

Well, now I'm "hooked". I have dowloaded hundreds of megabytes of faqs,
books, images, emulators, etc.

But there are too many image kinds/suffix/formats: po, img, shk, dsk,
bsq, bxy, shrinkit, binsciii, etc. It is a bit of a mess.

Given that I have apple2+ with 5.25 drives (NOT 3.5") (and that I like
most the II+, not the IIc or IIe, and I don't even know the IIGS), and
Macs, I would like to know what do you think that is the best way
(serial transfer) and format (po, img, etc) and utility (mac-side &
apple2-side) to convert these images back to real 5.25 disks ?

Jorge.
