Your setup is obviously different than mine. :) I don't know that I have used a Mac to get stuff to my Apple II directly. I have used Appletalk and 1.44M floppy disk to get files to my Apple IIgs. If I need them on a regular II, I use the IIgs as a conversion station.
Classic mode is available, and one of them can even boot in os9. What you say does still apply ?
I don't think the G4s have a serial port so no, ADT is not an option. Of course without the serial port, Appletalk is not an option either.
Personally I use an older beige G3 Mac using Mac OS 8.1 and then Appletalk the files to my IIgs running GSOS 6.
I'm sorry that I am not more help, on my G4 running OS 10.1, I have not established contact from my II yet.
You may have a catch-22 going here, you can't serial connect due to the G4 hardware and you can't TCP/IP because you don't have an A2 ethernet card yet.
Hmm, maybe you can modem files from the G4 to the II+. Get two modems and plug a phone line between them and hook one modem to each machine. Using a comm software, dial one, answer on the other. BBS anyone?
Thankx, Ed
