Proslot has an "electronic switch" that is flipped by *software*.  A
POKE to the correct location changes which card is active.  You could
easily write software to add an OPENAPPLE-P command to Prodos or
Dos3.3.  Any time you are at the ] prompt you could press openapple-P
to switch the active card.  You could have any key combination that you
can catch with software (and that doesn't interfere with Prodos
commands) activate the switch.

Switchaslot has a manual switch.  You have to use your hand to turn the
knob.

I dunno if it would work for drive controllers (smartport), because I
think Prodos creates a table of which slots are drives, and how much
storage is available at each slot.  Switching which drive is active
might confuse Prodos.
