Need Disk conversion assistance

I am using a ibook G4 OSX Tiger with Bernie the Rescue as my Apple IIgs
emulation software. It works okay, even though its a classic app.
Certainly much better than the NES, GameBoy and Sega classic emulators I
have. Those were so sluggish in OSX classic that I had to download OSX
native versions. Bernie seems to work just as well under OSX Tiger as
it did on my Performa 6360 2 months ago.

Well there is a Apple IIgs game called the Quarter Mile that I wish to
purchase from B& R computer software (they sell Apple IIgs software).

But in order to play this game I need the game converted so my Mac
emulator can use it and I lack a Apple II, nor do I have the space for a
bulky desktop in my tiny room (I have 2 laptops and no desktops). If
the game shipped on 3.5 inch floppies they would not work on my ibook
even though I have a USB drive. For one my USB drive cant read LD
disks, and for two OSX cant bread proDOS disks natively. 2 months ago I
had a Performa 6360 that could I believe read LD proDOS disks. Well its
gone know so no use with my USB floppy.

If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it. I will cover all
shipping costs and give you a little bit of money for the task. I am
aware that I can buy this game from B&R for $9 and for macintosh system
7.1-9.x for $40 from quartermile.com. But since the Apple II version
was the version I loved and played everyday in school during the
1989-1991 years I wish to go with this version.

Thank you,

John
