I am running Bernie the Rescue on my ibook G4 running Tiger. Bernie often
complains about my monitor settings being in millions and asks me to change
them to 256. Should I? I have played games on millions and 256 color mode and
notice little difference.
Also my second problem is that it appears that some IIgs apps (Number munchers
for one) seem to be somewhat sluggish when running them in Bernie. How can I
fix this? I believe that Apple IIgs emulation will be slower on my new ibook
G4,than what it used to be on my old Performa 6360, as Tiger seems to emulate
the old Mac OS, as no native OSX version of Bernie exists. On the Performa this
was not the case as Bernie was running natively. Its strange why a 300 mhz G3
Mac with a expansion upgrade card CPU, can be faster than a 1.6/1.2? ghz G4
Mac.
Thanks,
John
