The ATA command should stay in wait if you initiate it on
the receiving end, probably Apple IIc+, and then go to the
sending machine, Mac, and initiate ATO. BBS's are in standing
ATA mode continuously while waiting for the ring command and
after answering initiates the ATO command which in turn makes
the connection. After that it's human BBS in this case.  :o)
