I think you might have misunderstood me. The point I was trying to
make is that A2Central.com and Syndicomm.com are completely separate
entities. They may be run by the same people but they are completely
stand alone sites.

On A2Central.com in the sidebar on the left just above the poll, there
is a section called "User Functions" that has username and password
boxes and a login button. Below that is a link to sign up as a new
user. This only sets you up as a user of the A2Central.com site and
gives you the ability to customize the page the way you want as well
as a few other functions. This account does not give you any access
to Syndicomm.com as that is a separate service.

As to checking out what Syndicomm.com has to offer, the only way you
can do that at present is to read the Syndicommotion newsletters that
can be found at:

    http://www.syndicomm.com/syndicommotion/index.html

This will give you an overview of what communities exist on the
service and what they have been talking about. For even more
information about what is going on in the Apple II community on
Syndicomm you can read "The Lamp!" which is available at:

    http://lamp.a2central.com/The_Lamp/

The issues from recent years contain posting from the Apple II
community on Syndicomm. It also contains a few posts from Delphi and
the KFest mailing list from time to time as well.

Personally, I kind of miss the way that Delphi used to let members
with free accounts take part in chat through the web interface. There
were times when some idiot would come in and try to cause problems but
they were quickly dealt with by those with chat moderation privledges.
It made things quite interesting to have people coming in asking Apple
II related questions.
