I'm seeing this in the FAQ:

BASIC program by Ivan Drucker which splits a forked file into two files,

How can I unfork the files by hand?  I do have the ProDOS Exercisor.  It's 
crude, but I can change file types.  What else do I need to change to 
unfork a file?
