I'm certain this has been covered somewhere, but I haven't located it yet.

I finally got an Apple IIGS (ROM 01) but I have not disks. I do happen to have access to an older Macintosh running MacOS 9.2.2 (has DiskCopy 6.3.3
IIRC).

What model mac are you running? Does it have an internal floppy? I don't a
usb floppy will write to DD disks. Which also brings up the question, are
you using double density disks?

*snip*

I have a USB "superdrive" and it does DD disks..

But I'll bet it doesn't do Apple GCR DD disks!
