Individual Computers are notorious for delaying the release of things,
though having said that, when the stuff is finally released it is usually
of a very high standard.
I just bought one of their C-One computers to play with.
Wouldn't mind getting a IIgs core happening with a 20MHz 68516!

The other option I use when making AppleII protoboards is to use
an old SCSI cable adapter from a Macintosh (Most LC models).
It can be easily cut to fit the AII slot, and can mate up with a
right angle IDE connector which can solder on to a normal proto-board.

Here is a photo to give you an idea of what I mean:

The SCSI adapter is shown before being 'pruned' to fit the AppleII slot.

Shouldn't imagine it would be too hard to get a couple from an
Apple repair shop.
