I'm travelling at the moment and my ancient Powerbook isn't fast enough
to run a decent emulator, so I've been working on some Applesoft
projects with BBEdit. I'm wondering how Basic System interprets control
characters when EXECing a text file.
Mainly I'm concerned with things like Tabs, Spaces and CRs within line,
which is mainly to keep my listings legible, as such:
1000 PRINT "HELLO";
: PRINT CHR$ (32);
: PRINT "WORLD"
: GOTO 1000 : REM sorry I didn't use GOSUB
Is this acceptable, or does each Applesoft line have to be unbroken.
