Well, the difference between SCSI and IDE is
obvious. The MicroDrive, as is, can't access
CD rom drives, but you can now use CF cards
with it, providing you have a IDE to CF adapter
plugged into it. Other differences are, ability
to partition it as you please. No need to have
32MB partitions all throughout the drive. You
can have a 10MB then a 32MB or two and so on.
I use them quite a bit, and now have sold one
with CF card adapter, and am working a deal on
one with 800MB notebook hard drive. I'm not sure
how many more smaller notebook hard drives I can
get, but I have a few left.
If you can be more specific about what differences
you'd like info on, I can better accomodate you.
I can't really say yet if it's the best, but right
now I find them to work best on IIgs.
