Nice.

I guess it boots the C64 core, displays the menu, and jumps to the C64 ROM
if you select C64.

Do the Z80 machines require you to change the CPU card,
or is the Z80 implemented in FPGA?

The 65C816 could have been put in the FPGA if there is room for a Z80.

Jeri uses two Altera FPGA in the C1, and these use non-volatile
configuration memory. I assume there is a finite number of reprogramming
before it wears out?

Interesting. I'm looking at cloning an early Apple Mac, and I see it uses
the same Integrated Woz Machine FDC as used in the 6502 based machines. I am
looking at the logic in the six PAL chips which is hard enough but there
isn't much info about the IWM. Then again, Apple-format disks are fairly
dead, and even floppies are being replaced with CF and SD memory cards.

I'd like to chat with Jeri again but I haven't been able to contact her for
ages.

She don't write no more :-<
