I'd like to know the answer, myself.

My understanding was that the patched FST was solid, but that
the inevitable cumulative insults to the file system resulting from
power glitches, etc., could not be repaired on the IIgs.

Can a IIgs HFS disk be taken to a Mac and "fixed"?  Or must
one rely upon backups and the occasional "copy all files" to
a fresh HFS partition?
