Re: Copy Files from an Apple IIGS to a PC

OK, I've found a Macintosh SE with a superdrive. It will boot but
just shows a disk with a question mark on it, so I'm guessing that
there's no internal hard drive (or the hard drive is blank) and I'm
looking around for a boot floppy of some sort. Two questions:

1. Do I have to install an operating system on this, or will it
operate like a IIGS where you can boot from a floppy to the GUI.

2. Where are resources on operating/using a Mac SE w/Superdrive?

Thanks again for your help,

Matt

Hard drives were pretty expensive when the SE was out so many didn't
have a hard drive. You can boot off a floppy. Rather than repeating
what's there, try these sites
