Ow! - someone went to the trouble to try to help you but you seem
ungrateful - not even a small thanks.

Apple II APDA books aren't online in PDF because they're still available for
sale, new from Syndicomm.

These are the definitive sources for Apple II information, especially for
the latter models. There are some earlier books online in PDF format, but
usually ones that the author(s) or publisher have donated to the public
domain. For example, Beneath Apple ProDOS (30MB):

Most books published in the United States are protected by copyrights - it
may not be worth the time to scan to pdf or OCR for the trouble it could
cause someone. I didn't see any such copyright signoffs on the example pages
you provided - either the laws governing the jurisdiction of that site are
more forgiving, or those book's content has been illegally made available
online.

I also have to agree with Laine - most die-hard Apple II hobbyists have
shelves of books. I sure do.
