What? Like VCF?

Today's computers and components are disposable commodities - drop and swap.
The computers I used "back in the day..." were far more complicated,
expensive and harder to use, hence their charm. They only seem easier
because we have 20 some years experience playing with them. My Altair came
as a kit, and I could've used an EE to help me build it back then... the
average clone today can be assembled in 30 minutes, with a screwdriver. No
soldering, wrapping or customizing required.
