Ha! By that same reasoning they shouldn't be providing access to the
Internet at all.
The real reason so many ISPs regards news servers as more trouble than
they're worth is that only a small percentage of their customers use
them, and of the ones that do most of the traffic is from the binary
groups, which mostly consists of porn, pirated software and pirated
movies. And probably pirated porn movies. Which is not to say that there
aren't plenty of newsgroups that carry other stuff, just that it makes
up a fairly small percentage of the traffic.

individual.net/>, as I use them myself.
