: : What speed of 65816 do you have?
:
: It's a -14 and the person I got it from, had to
: replace it, was aware I wanted a 14 MHz chip, so
: I assume that means that it is one.
:
: : How fast are you running the card?
:
: I have a 32.0000 MHz crystal in it.
:
: : If you are running the card over 8mhz have you
: : installed faster cache ram?
:
: I just changed the ram from 62256 -35, to 61256 -20.

: without it. The only thing is, I still get the error
: code 0201 when I boot up. Is it possible that I could
: slow it down to 7 MHz and relieve this? I don't need
: it that fast. Also, I haven't done a complete pull and
: reseat of all the chips, as in, PALs, GALs, etc......
: Do you think this might be it, or would it not run at
: all with one of those not seated correctly?
:
: Thanks for your input so far, I've made some progress.

Ok, have it working sort of. I can hold option on startup,
press enter to leave control panel and it boots up. I can
live with that. The EEprom is holding the config, and the
cache seems to be ok. I do plan to try 70, 100, and 120ns
after the holiday. Jameco carries them all if anyone is
looking. I still would like to know what these errors are,
so if there are any tech reps from the A2 days who knows,
I would appreciate it. Also if there is software and you
know where I can get it, I'd like that too. Also a copy
of the manual. I don't want much eh??? :o)

Thank you all,
