As you can see, I tend to scan programming information.

I have received permission for none of these except the
Randy Hyde 6502 book.  That one I have finished converting
to text and I am in the middle of converting it to HTML.
When that is complete then I will put it on my web site.

The biggest scanning mistake I see folks making is using
greyscale instead of monochrome.  This increases the file
size and makes the scan useless for OCR.
