Re: Long VTech Floppy Drive Controller

That would certainly solve the issue, but
then I would have to leave out my Slinky
Ram card that is in slot 1. I guess I need
to go through all my disks and see what will
run under 2.0.3 and put it on them. Yes, if
I put that on with A2Desktop, then it will
map partitions 3 and 4 to slot 2 while it's
in slot 7, and if I want to boot from floppy,
then control-reset before it's loaded or hit
startup drive after it's loaded. Yeah, I'll
put 2.0.3 on it and move it to 7. Now, what
about my VTech card? I can use the Laser ROM
in it? And how about cables? Anything on that
yet?

I use Prosel 8 as my main program launcher and one of the choices
is A2Desktop for the odd times I want a GUI. The Laser ROM will
work fine in your VTech card. Actually they're both VTech cards
as VTech made the Laser. Also sort of the same card. When VTech
went to make the Laser computer they didn't want to use that many
chips with the built-in floppy controller so they combined a lot
of them into a custom chip. Now that they had the custom chip it
was cheaper to design a new UDC card then continue with the old
one.
I haven't made a trip to my storage yet. If I don't get by there
sooner I have to pass by Sunday. Once I have the card here I can
quickly get the pinout.
