: I'm not a "gamer", but I've never found any ProDOS app
: that wouldn't run under version 2.0.3. In my experience,
: ProDOS is much more interface compatible than the
: various versions of GS/OS. (The interface is much

Games??? What are they??? Oh yeah, I remember now.
Those little time wasters that mesmerize the mind
and leave you with sore wrists and blurry eyes.
Nope, never heard of them. 8o)
: If you can do without the "little pictures", ProSel 8 is the
: very best ProDOS program selector for a hard disk-based
: system. And it provides a host of very useful utilities as
: part of the bundle.
ProSel 8 is my next stop. A2Desktop leaves much to
be desired. Not doing it for me. Now, where did I
put those disks I made. I know I still have the
images, but where. Oh, I know. Ok, here we go.
Yes, utilities, I love those.
: You can design text-based menu screens that make
: program selection very simple with either a mouse or
: with the cursor keys, and you can get a lot more
: apps on the screen readably than with "icons".
Text menus sound great. I'll call on you if I need
help, Mike. Thanks for reminding me of ProSel 8.
: Of course, if you can't do without a wastebasket... ;-)
Hmmmm, I can live without that. I don't use the
ones on Windoze or GS/OS. 8o) In fact, I use the
hot-key combos on those more than I click, I think.
