When you say DIP-switch bank, is that the ID setting?

No, there's a separate ID switch-button for that. This is a 4-switch bank - though essentially, only one is user-friendly (up = termination off, down = termination on). The other switches are "Function Reserved".

No, that mod supplies the termination power
to the chain. Just turn off the term power
switch on the Zip drive. Also try making the
CD drive ID 6, and the ZIP drive ID 5. The SCSI
card is set at ID 7 with all switches set to open.

Will do.

They could very well be the drivers you need.
What are the names of the files that are being
installed.

I'll check and let you know.

That is totally ridiculous. I make the IIc to PC
null-modem cables for $10. Besides, for the IIgs,
you get a 8 mini-din to DB25 male and buy a null-modem
adapter. That's all I do.

Ridiculous, I agree. They're the only ones local to me that specialize exclusively in custom building cables for individuals and businesses, so they figure they can get away with charging whatever they want.
