There is something differn't about the controller chip on the
//c+. I have replaced the drive with another 800k mech same problem.
You will also note that unless you have another 800k drive connected to
the exteral port. You will not be able to use CopyII+ 3.5 bit copier
on the //c+. There was copy protected software that was on 3.5 that
will not work on the //c+ because of the controller.
You are right, it will do the same with the UniDisk 3.5 (Catalyst
will not do this to a UniDisk because it was programed for the UniDisk
3.5).
