If you have access to GS/OS 6.0.1, boot up the SYSTEM.DISK, eject it
using the eject button on the drive, then insert SYSTEM.TOOLS1 and
run Advanced Disk Utilities ( Adv.Disk.Util ). If you have 2 x 3.5" drives,
then leave the System.Disk in drive 1 and insert the Tools1 disk into drive
number 2. Once the drive is partitioned and initialized, then you can set it
up for 8-bit operation, although you probably won't be able to access all
of the partitions. Also, there is a term-power mod you might need to do to
the card. Here is a link to the file that shows you how.

In answer to your other post about CD drives, GS/OS does have drivers for
that, but I have no clue how to use it in 8-bit mode if it can be used that
way
at all. Good Luck.
