Thanks -- found it.  It's on Jim Maricondo's site at
http://www.maricondo.org .  He tried out the XRGB-2/plus model, though
claimed the older XRGB-2 actually did a better job.  He had to make a
funky cable to go from the DB15 on the GS to a 21-pin connector.  The
jagged lines aren't bad -- slightly fuzzy if anything.  Plus, he was
going from Analog RGB --> Digital RGB --> VGA --> Analog VGA -->
Digital VGA to his LCD which had to display it at a non-native
resolution. I'm planning on using a CRT (analog input and display). If I ever find one and have the time to tinker, I'll be sure to post on
csa2 and let everyone know how it worked.
