Yes, it was ARD3, the 5th chip from the rear. Replaced it
and ran the test with flying colors. Also, under the chip was
a marking on the board UF8. That binary was 8 in decimal.
A correlation to that maybe? I'd have to remove another IC
to prove it, and I'm not about to do that. Now if I can get an
EPROM programmer and make some roms for UniDisk
compatibility, and can duplicate the UniDisk controllers,
I would buy up the IIc's I can find and fix them up. I am also
in the process of devising a bracket to mount the 3.5 drive
inside the case and we can have a semi IIc+ out of them. ;-)
