Nah, you won't get flamed for being a ][+ advocate. Every one of us should
have a ][+.
But this was about a guy wanting to pick up a first Apple II, and wanting to
know which model he should look for.
As a practical matter, the IIgs just makes the most sense. They are common,
cheap, and versatile. You don't have to use GS/OS, but you can if you ever
want to.
