    D***, I wish this series of messages had been posted two weeks
ago.  I'd have saved four bucks.

    Based on the part number off a NiteOwl battery, I bought two
TL-2150 batteries from Radio Shack for $7.99.  I just checked the
Mouser site and see that they have a TL2150P for $5.51.  According to
the specs on the Mouser site I can't tell the difference between a
TL5101P and a TL2150P.  If they're basically the same I guess you go
for the cheaper one.

    I've been told that the ROM 3 IIgs has a battery holder so you
wouldn't want a battery with axial leads for that system.

    I have a IIgs with a battery that's still OK after about 13 years.
 That's the one I got as a premium for getting a 10 year CD.
