Of course it works!  What did you expect?  Haven't you learned yet that 
with the Apple // nothing is impossible, it's just that some things are 
a bit more difficult than others.  Actually, long ago I incorporated 
support for all those extra keys, including the F keys, in my AppleWorks 
(Classic) macro set (TimeOut Ultramacros/TAPL).

It's only with the introduction of the USB/Firewire only Macs that such 
periferals ceased to be compatible right across the Apple line.  I use 
the same keyboards, Zip drive & printers on both my IIgs and my PB1400, 
but my iMac can use none of them.
