First Time Apple II user - read the FAQ - still confused on SDK files

I have qty 20, 5 1/4 diskettes with spreadsheets I need to transfer and
convert to Lotus 123. They were created on a II c running Appleworks.

I have the II c, Appleworks, ProDos as well as a II+ with serial port and an
old 5 slot IBM PC with 30mb harddrive. All the hardware works.

I found a zip archive of CrossWorks 2. The Apple side of the code is in SDK
format. It looks like Crossworks is what is needed to convert the data
files.

I got a copy of CiderPress and Nulib2 and a couple of different emulators,
read the FAQ and few times, have transferred ADT via serial port between the
II + and the PC and got it running on a II + under DOS 3.3

I used Cider to uncompress the SDK file in a Windows directory on my WinME
box preserving the original forks, etc. This is an 800k disk image. The
actual files on the disk would take up less than half the space on a 5 1/4
single sided disk.

How do I take the files that were in the SDK file and convert them into a
format suitable for transferring back to the II c via serial port and
loading onto a 5 1/4 inch disk so I can boot up Crossworks and run the
spreadsheet conversion process ?

Or will it never work because the original SDK file was 800k ? Could I
launch an emulator to run the Crossworks SDK disk and use ADT to create disk
images of the 5 1/4 Appleworks data disks ?

I've been playing with computers since the mid 70's and that was beast
controlled by old teletype machines but never got into Apple. Now I am
confused and unsure and at your mercy !
