Re: Super Serial -> PC

First of all it is easy to get docs to tell you how to set up your Super
Serial Card.... I have used ADT @ 19200. You dint need a null modem, there
is a jumper you will probably have to turn over on the card to "Terminal"
(or Modem), after that a normal serial cable will work. This would be a good
time to explore Linux for getting the //e online an to be able to download
programs to it from the net Also download a copy of TeraTerm for the PC, it
is a common terminal emulator, has a few shortcomings but overall is great.
Linux does support Apple II for terminal emulation....

Burn your laser 486, or put it in the closet, you can get a Pentium
motherboard & CPU for $5-10 in a Computer recycling store these days. put it
in the laser... no reason to use a 486!! Gosh you need to upgrade!

Circus!
