I made a null-modem cable several years ago that I used to transfer files,
and also to print to an Imagewriter I.  I remember I had a lot of trouble
doing it because the IIc+ port is NOT the same as a Mac or IIgs port, even
though it's the same type of connector.  Unfortunately, I didn't take the
greatest notes, but here's what I jotted down:

IIc+         IIc           Imagewriter II        Imagewriter I

I think I had some trouble with the pinout of the IIc, because some
references listed it backwards.
The Imagewriter I connector is a DB25, so you could either adapt it to DB-9
or translate it.
You listed wire colors on your diagram, those are not standardized folks, so
don't work from the colors unless you've verified them with a continuity
checker.
