I recently bought a superdrive controller for my IIgs. I modified a drive
to take the Superdrive mechanism from a Mac IIsi (knew that thing would be
good for something someday... ;) and updated my GSOS 6.0.1 with the Apple
3.5 Disk installer so that it could format 1.44 meg disks. So far, so good!
Works fine with 1.44 meg PRODOS disks. I then installed the MSDOS FST and
rebooted. I checked the FSTs folder and the MSDOS one is there. But when I
put in a formatted MSDOS disk, nothing happens. The disk light comes on
momentarily, but no disk shows up on the desktop and no message is
displayed.
Am I doing something wrong...?
Thanks
Tim
