I don't use the CD reader in my IIe(tower case) all that much. I have
made a number of ProDOS CDs so it can be a handy way of moving data
about. I also have backups of my IIgs, IIe and II+ hard drives on CD
(all three have CD drives) since I've learned not to trust rerecordable
media.
Generally I'd say most people wouldn't find much use for a CD reader on
a IIe and even less so on a II+. I'd be interested in hearing if
someones got one on an Integer Basic Apple II.
